Hey Brad, I just wanted to pop in and say thank you for having such an amazing establishment that has helped me achieve some goals recently. At Alliance usually 6 days a week now and it is probably one of the most positive experiences that has impacted my life greatly. I appreciate all you do in maintaining the business that I have now come to depend on for my everyday activity and for filling it with such amazing and inspirational individuals.
People don’t judge you at Alliance they just help you be the best you can be!!!

Thank you guys so much, I thank the lord everyday i found alliance for my son! You guys are amazing!
August 3rd 2011 I signed up! I had already made my mind at worlds when I noticed that at my other gym the instructors really didn't care much especially the owner who thought he was a super star. I knew i was going to sign up at brads gym no matter what affiliation it was.
Ashley Mabe After trying jujitsu (wrestling style mma) & Loving it - I tried Muay Thai ( sparring/ boxing / kickboxing style mma) LOVED It! The coach allowed me to spar after the class with the guys to try put the practice to use! Not horrible for having no idea what I was doing ! I can't wait until my next practice. Guys or gals check out this place for yourselves or your kids. Not only an amazing work out and art - but personally therapeutic
David Brogan -- 5 starFrom Professors Malfacine and Brad to all of the other great staff and students, to the absolutely amazing facility, you cannot go wrong at Alliance Orlando. A group of friends and I stopped by while on vacation and definitely plan on making a return trip next time we are in town!
Joined Alliance in September of 2010 after taking my first loss and realizing I needed some better instruction. (Came to Orlando in aug 2012 after visiting and wanting to change up my training)
I joined Alliance 3 weeks ago yesterday. I joined because I love to compete. But most importantly I love to win while competing! So I'd rather have an advantage by training with World champions and people that want to help you fulfill your goals.
I joined October 2011 while under construction. To be honest I didn't like Jiu Jitsu, but a friend recommended it. I have been intrigued ever since, because of the chess like philosophy. So under my Martial Art experience, I have 14 years Tae Kwon Do, 2 years Cong Nho, 10 months boxing, 1 year Muay Thai, and 1 year Capoeira

I joined October of 2011 was nearing the end of the Academy and wanted to make sure my Defensive Tactics stayed sharp, met Michael Langhi and Michel, shortly after met Bruno and realized they were on a different level, and nothing can keep me away; not being hospitalized for diverticulitis nor a torn meniscus, I am here to stay!
I want to publicly thank my instructors & everyone for all their help at Alliance for helping me lose 65lbs since December 2012. Family & friends don't recognize me now from then.
Brad, thank you for having the best dang Mix Martial Arts Gym in Florida. You are gentlemen, honorable, just a great guy, generous with your time & help in instructing me in BJJ & beyond that one of best BJJ fighters I have rolled with.
Marc, it was you when I first started Alliance & 65lbs heavier that you never took it easy with me but keep pushing me beyond what I thought I could stand. When I first started, I would be in so much pain after class, I would lay in my gi on the floor at home just shaking in pain for 30 mins b/c my muscles weren't used to it for a month. Yet, you never beat me down, but kept motivating & pushing me harder. Thank you my Sensei. I am your humble student & will be forever grateful for what you have done for me in my life. I LOVE JUDO!!!!
Bruno, you were the one of the hardest person for me to get to know, but it motivated me to work harder in your class to prove I was very serious about BJJ. Once I did, your respect, personal instruction & help has been amazing & generous towards my progression in BJJ. My weight loss really accelerated after taking BJJ with you. I am honored to be your student. Thank you my professor. I LOVE BJJ, TOO!!!!
Bobby, what can I say. During Muay Thai, you are tough, hard, don't put up with BS & can make a grown man cry, but I won't change one thing about you b/c after class you showed me personally you only want the best for me. You get me to dig deep when I think I have no more to give for that you have my deepest respect. I have notice my strength & stamina has double since your class. Thank you, SIR ( inside joke ). I LOVE MUAY THAI, TOO!!!!

Cool meeting @colemillerkills the other night at Alliance Orlando. This gym has been very welcoming and a great place to train for the time I've been in Orlando. I can't recommend it enough! Great environment and tough training partners!
Nov/11-I was training at another school and Pedro Torres told me that Alliance was coming to Orlando and the head instructor would be Michael Langhi,I came twice for his class and the third time I signed up
Washington Marques Costa
December 2012, I was watching way to much UFC and a good friend of mine from work forced me to give Alliance a shot. I came in a little over 193lbs and had no idea how I was going to get myself in shape. I remember my first day I trained BJJ, Bruno was in Brazil on vacation and I had no idea who he was for weeks. I got partnered with Rich Cruz and thought he was an instructor at the time. The first week was hell but I have been coming just about everyday, twice a day, and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my entire life. I am leaner than I was in high school and the strongest I have ever been
Joined in April of 2012 after a year and a half off the mats from a bad back injury. For months before I used to come up with Chris Cyr and just watch classes from the side lines. After my back felt well enough to train, I signed up and never looked back. I'm glad to be surrounded by my great friends from the old GB days of the late 90's like Wesley, Frankie, Gary and Brad. To be able to call myself a student of Bruno is an honor. The level of Jiu Jitsu at Alliance is like nothing I've seen before. I truly feel like I'm at a fantasy camp for the New York Yankees
Rich joined in 2011 but I didn't start training until March 2012. After separating from the Marine Corps in 2004 I found it difficult to be passionate about any particular workout or training. I tried Muay Thai and fell in love with it. Corey and Eric have both been great at teaching FF. I tried Jiu Jitsu in January for the first time and I'm hooked. Alliance is like a second home for the Cruz family. It's a learning experience we can all share and grow from together. It's awesome to be able to train with our son!!
I signed up only three weeks ago. I've trained other styles of fighting before but alliance is something special. Marcus Jones recommended the gym and I finally got around to signing up. I'm honored to be training with such a high caliber of martial artist and I will keep striving to be the best I can be. Maybe someday I could compete! Much love to everyone I've met and will meet!
I have been a police officer for almost 10 years. I find that most police defensive tactics training is unrealistic and gives officers a false sense of security. Most street confrontations go to the ground; therefore the most effective training for law enforcement is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu because it concentrates on grappling techniques that focus on control without causing injury. Alliance Orlando is a top-notch facility with expert instruction. Alliance Orlando’s schedule is very flexible and they offer a wide variety of classes. During the time I have been training at Alliance Orlando, I have found my skill level and confidence have improved dramatically.
Detective M – 4 Year member of SWAT and Narcotics Agent
I have been a Police Officer going on 19 years now, and have been practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for about seven of those. Police defensive tactics training is geared around a basic knowledge of combative techniques developed and determined through a police training coordinator. These techniques are taught once a year following state requirements, and also help to cover department’s liability issues. Any outside advanced training is the responsibility of the Officers. In today’s arena of an MMA trained community and the knowledge of approximately 85% of confrontations ending up on the ground, I highly recommend BJJ as a self-defense. Alliance Orlando Jiu Jitsu is a world class facility, with world class instruction. They not only offer Jiu Jitsu, but also Judo, Muay Thai, MMA, and Fighter Physical Fitness classes…all for one reasonable price. Also, the atmosphere at Alliance is like being in an extended family and comfortable for all ages. I’m 55 years old now, and never feel out of place at Alliance Orlando. Everyone is respectful, and willing to help out anyone that’s interested in improving and developing their game. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has given me the confidence and knowledge that I’m prepared for any confrontations I might encounter on a daily basis.

Fighter Fit training at Alliance Orlando has changed the way my body responds to workouts. As a full-time firefighter/EMT, my job demands that I stay in the best shape possible. I am not new to working out and have always been around the gym; I even won a fitness contest in 2008. After just a few months with the trainers here, I’m stronger, have more endurance and feel more confident handling the physical demands of my job than ever before. Any firefighter or police officer that isn’t training like this, is missing out on untapped potential.

Having trained in several boxing gyms and jiu jitsu schools, I can easily say Alliance Orlando is by far the best gym I have ever been a part of. The classes offered provide training for athletes of all levels.

Good morning to you sir. Just wanted to say God Bless you and thank you for all that you have contributed to the community, jiu jitsu, and the world of mma in general. It is an honor to know you sir, and I hold you with respect in the highest regard.

I want praise Elwil's great teaching in Burno's class last Friday. He taught his powerful gi choke technique. What I love about Alliance is that we can take the best techniques from BJJ, Judo or any mix martial arts discipline, then mix them to make yourself an overall better fighter.
Yesterday at Orlando Judo, I used Elwil's gi choke twice and had two submissions in Ne-Wasa ( ground sparring ). What I loved was the look on my opponent's faces as they felt their gi going around their neck. The choke was quite easy once execute.
One opponent just needed the first part of the gi choke around his neck with a little pressure to tap out. The other submission while my opponent tried to perform a double choke on me and I just needed to pull down 3 inches with an immediately tap out. I did not use that much pressure. Just amazing how little pressure was needed to be exerted to perform the choke.
By far, Elwil's Gi Choke is the best submission technique I ever had while doing Ne-Wasa.
Keep in mind, most of my submission wins in Ne-Wasa have been while using Bruno and now Elwil's BJJ Techniques. Judo students need to broaden their minds and cross train in BJJ in my opinion.
This is why I love Alliance so much. I have become an overall better fighter when I train in multiple martial art disciplines.
Thank you again for making such an amazing gym.
Thank you so much Brad Thompson. Jennifer and I had a blast this weekend. It is an honor to be a part of what you have created for all of us. I have so much fun every time I walk through those doors. I always enjoy our rolls as we laugh and try to figure this crazy game out
I just want to thank all the instructors that work with my son Noah day in and day out. He is growing so much as a person and a Martial Artist, and I believe Alliance Orlando is the main reason. His confidence and skills are growing and I thank you for it. He wakes up everyday and can't wait to go train. He believes he can be a champion because he is around champions everyday! He wakes up every morning and does his pushups and sit-ups and I ask him why he does it and he says "I want to be a champion like my professors dad and you have to work hard if you want to be a champion"
Thank you guys so much, I thank the lord everyday i found alliance for my son! You guys are amazing!
